According to the internet, too big of an intake port on a cylinder head kills low-end torque, but is that true? The Steves and Freiburger put that theory to the test on the latest episode of Engine Masters, using a 408ci small-block Ford stroker as their test mule. Three different Air Flow Research heads are used on this tamely built small-block as the guys assess changes that occur in three dyno tests. Find out if this myth gets debunked on episode 28 of Engine Masters, now available on Motor Trend On Demand.
Personally, I really enjoy it when tech is included in this show. As much as I love seeing the Steves and David try and push parts to the limits and break stuff, the knowledge they pass on in episodes like this is incredibly valuable.
